Forest Canopy Shawl complete

Here’s a picture of the shawl off the blocking board. I cannot get a good picture today, it’s dull and gray outside and the light is not cooperating! I enjoyed knitting this pattern up. But, the pattern says it’s a great project for beginning lace knitters. I had a terrible time getting it started, and had to frog back three times before it came together. I’m not sure what I was doing wrong, but on the fourth start is was easy!

Your shawl looks so gorgeous. Interesting how much of a difference the light makes.

What a gorgeous shawl! Thanks for the link. I got the pattern today - just what I needed for a hank of Brooks Farm merino that I got at the Taos Wool Festival.
