Tourmaline is Spun
Posted on | January 27, 2007 |
I’ve finally finished spinning the 8 oz of Corriedale pencil roving (Tourmaline is the colorway) which I purchased from Crown Mountain Farms. This is my 4th spinning project and I’m quite pleased with the results.
I ended up with 1,190 yards!! It’s 18 WPI, 2 ply. Spun on my new Kromski Sonata wheel. This yarn will be a Flower Basket Shawl soon. I can’t wait to knit it up and see how it looks.

Two huge skeins, all finished.

Gorgeous spinning! That will be plenty for a Flower Basket Shawl - it should be a very nice size!
