Fiber!

I just got my order from The Sheep Shed Studio. I ordered 2 pounds of the #1 Gray roving. It’s totally gorgeous, so soft and a lovely color. Here’s a picture of all of it in it’s glory:

And here’s what it’s going to grow up to be (hopefully):

This is the Sensational Shirttail Cardigan from Knitter’s Magazine, Fall 1999. I’m going to try to spin this to a bulky weight, the pattern calls for 5 WPI. I can’t wait to get started. Wish me luck as I haven’t tried to spin a bulky weight yarn before.

Your roving in grey is awesome. I ordered some two days ago and ordered 2 lbs of white and it was here today! Haven’t opened the box yet, Hope it is as yummy as yours. Best wishes to you on that sweater. I have been eyeing that one as well, I am sure it will be very very warm. Enjoy the whole process!!
