WIP Report
Well, I haven’t finished any projects but I am working on my WIPs. Here are some updated pictures.

Scrumptious Slipper Socks. I love this study in contrasts! The large one is a man’s size and will go to The Ships Project. The smaller one is for CIC.

Here’s my Solace Stole. I’ve completed 15 repeats of the pattern and plan to do 5 more. This is the one I’m working on the most, I really love it and need to finish it up. Zeke really likes it too!

Next up is the Flower Basket Shawl from Knitter’s Fall 1999. Not too much to see yet. BUT I’m knitting it with my very own handspun yarn!! It’s coming out really nice too. Can’t wait to finish it and block it out.

I’m still busily spinning my gray roving for my Sensational Shirttail sweater. It’s going to take a long time as I need 1200 yards of bulky weight yarn. I’ve spun and plied about 200 yards so far. It’s going well and I think I’m getting the hang of spinning thicker yarn now. I’m Navajo plying it to 3 plyes. Here’s a pic of a bobbin spun up. I have to predraft my fiber to have any control over it and the bobbin is just laying on my basket of predrafted bundles.

And last buy not least here’s Zeke. He looks sad because I just told him he has to go to the groomer today. The doggies would much rather stay at home. But they are quite shaggy looking and those beards are nasty!!

Off to start the laundry and get back to spinning and knitting!

Poor Zeke. He’s a doll. And thank you for flashing the Solace again. You are just trying to get me to buy that pattern. Resisting, Resisting, *gasps weakly*
