Shirttail Sweater Update
Posted on | March 22, 2007 |
Yes, I’m still plugging along on my Sensational Shirttail Sweater. I’ve completed the back and both sides and am 3/4 of the way through the first sleeve. I’ve spun and plyed 1200 yards so far. I think I’ll need a bit more, I added 3″ in length to the sweater so that’s going to throw off the yardage a bit. I’m 5′10″ tall and most things are too short on me.
Here’s a picture of the left front blocking. I’m really happy so far with this project and can’t wait to finish it.

I’m really impressed. I can’t believe you’re so good at this so quickly. The yarn you’re making is knitting up beautifully. Very nice!

You are so good. In fact, you inspired me to get back to my wheel this afternnon. It is beginning to click for me, but I have a long way to go to produce the beautiful yarn you’re making. That gray is gorgeous and so is your knitting.
