March Charity Projects

I’ve finally completed some of my charity knitting and will be sending it off today. Here’s a couple of pictures.

4 pairs socks for the CIC Big Kids Challenge and 2 pairs of mittens. The sock pattern is mine and the mitten pattern is Jean Gifford’s ‘No Swatch, No Gauge’ pattern (I’ve unfortunately lost the link to the pattern). The varigated socks are knitted with my hand-dyed, handspun yarn! The rest of the socks are done in KnitPicks Wool of the Andes. The varigated mittens are KnitPicks Pallet yarn, hand-dyed with KoolAid. The solid pair was done with Wool of the Andes.

These things I knitted for K4C and will go to Warm Hearts, Warm Babies in Colorado. There’s an MDK Kimono, 3 hats and 7 pairs of booties. The Kimono was knit with TLC cotton plus, the rest are from stash yarn.

Lovely knits! I especially like the 2-color kimono. Makes me want to knit one!
