Candyribbons and ISE4 update

I’ve named my new yarn Candyribbons. It reminds me of that hard candy you see at Christmas time which is curled like ribbons. It’s Merino and Soy Silk. I started with 2 oz and the final yarn is 250 yards and 18WPI. Lovely colors.

And this is a progress picture of the scarf I’m knitting for my ISE4 partner. The yarn is my homespun (details HERE). The pattern is from Two Left Needles w/a border modification. Almost finished with it.

  4. I found you through craftster and I LOVE your spinning! (I’ll have to take a further look around too…) You have such even beautiful yarns! I tend towards the smoother more “classic” looking yarns myself and appreciate seeing other examples of them. I love the handspun scarf too!

  5. Hello, Sherie! That yarn looks yummy! Maybe you could make some Hogwarts colored yarn for the swap that I just started? Actually, there are a few Hogwarts swaps going on right now. You’d probably get quite a few requests. Let me know.
