Candyribbons and ISE4 update
Posted on | April 13, 2007 |
I’ve named my new yarn Candyribbons. It reminds me of that hard candy you see at Christmas time which is curled like ribbons. It’s Merino and Soy Silk. I started with 2 oz and the final yarn is 250 yards and 18WPI. Lovely colors.
here’s the fiber

And this is a progress picture of the scarf I’m knitting for my ISE4 partner. The yarn is my homespun (details HERE). The pattern is from Two Left Needles w/a border modification. Almost finished with it.

I found you through craftster and I LOVE your spinning! (I’ll have to take a further look around too…) You have such even beautiful yarns! I tend towards the smoother more “classic” looking yarns myself and appreciate seeing other examples of them. I love the handspun scarf too!

Hello, Sherie! That yarn looks yummy! Maybe you could make some Hogwarts colored yarn for the swap that I just started? Actually, there are a few Hogwarts swaps going on right now. You’d probably get quite a few requests. Let me know.

Your yarn looks great! I have some soysilk and merino in my stash, I think you’ve convinced me to combine the two!
