OKC or bust!

Well, it’s time for my yearly “girls’ weekend.” Once a year my friend and I leave behind kids and husbands and go somewhere fun for a long weekend. It’s great fun and lets us re-connect with each other. This year we are going to Oklahoma City. I’m sure there will be lots of shopping, talking, eating, talking, and sight seeing. My friend is not a fiber person, but she always graciously goes to the yarn shops that I find. So we’ll also be stopping at The Gourmet Yarn Co. while we’re there. I’ve never been to this LYS so I’m looking forward to it. We leave Thursday morning and will be back on Sunday sometime. No computers or internet while we’re gone. I’ll take lots of pictures and post some OKC goodies when I get back!

If you can get to Tulsa, Ok in the Utica Square shopping area is the “Loops” yarn store. To die for yarn and friendly people.
