399 Cigarettes
I have been quit for 2 Weeks, 5 Days, 22 hours, 55 minutes and 59 seconds (19 days). I have saved $69.84 by not smoking 399 cigarettes. I have saved 1 Day, 9 hours and 15 minutes of my life. My Quit Date: 6/1/2007 12:00 AM
Wow, those are my stats as of right now. I can’t believe that I’ve made it so far this time. I’m really optimistic that this will be the last time I quit smoking. It’s unbelievable to me that I would have smoked 399 cigarettes since June 1st if I had not quit. Not just amazing, but actually quite disgusting too. Keep me in your thoughts and prayers that I continue to beat this addiction.
Knitting content, as this is supposed to be a knitting blog! I finished spinning the llama fiber my Knitty Spinning SP sent me. It’s taking a bath right now. Lovely fiber, it was really easy to spin, but it did need lots of twist to stay together. Pictures tomorrow.

YEE HAW! Hooray for you!
Congratulations! You have come this far, you can keep going! We quit this year as well, on Feb. 2. I’m on day 139; 2,768 cigarrettes not smoked. This is my second week off the patch, as well. YAY!
No cigarettes for me since Oct., 2006. Couldn’t have done it without knitting. You can do it to. Think of all the yarn you can buy instead!
Huge Congratulations to you!! You should be very proud. Would you mind very much if I ask you to write and let me know how you did it (are doing it)? I badly need to quit but can’t even imagine how I’d be able to pull it off after so many years and, worse, so many cigarettes. It’s truly a heinous addiction. Good for you, Sherie, good for you!!!
Congratulations! Keep going–my problem is not cigarettes, but food. I’ve been knitting my way through losing 99 lbs. so far.
Kathy is right–think of all that yarn and fiber!
Congratulations on quitting smoking. I hope you manage to quit for good this time. I quit 13 years ago so I know how it feels. Hang in there. We’re all pulling for you.
Congratulations!!!
