Sixth Sense Sock progress
Posted on | April 23, 2006 |
OK, I frogged my original Sixth Sense sock and started over. New yarn and new technique. I wanted to try out the QK method and so far it’s working just great. The yarn is Opal Rainforest, in the Owl colorway. I’m using 24″ #1 Addi circulars.

Nice socks. I am intrigued by the 2 circular knitting method.

The socks look great, and I agree the Queen Kahuna method is the way to go.

Your socks are lovely! The toes are so nice and rounded. How many stitches did you cast on to start? The ribbing looks very nice also!

Laurie, I cast on 9 stitches for the toes….

Thanks! I’ve usually tried 7. I thought less stitches would make rounder toes. Must have my logic backwards. I’ll have to give 9 a try.

I love your Opal Owl socks. I’m going to have to get some of it now too!
