Singles!
Posted on | June 30, 2007 |
I’ve finally managed to spin some singles which aren’t overtwisted! Yippee! The skein is perfectly balanced. This was spun from the Spunky Fiber Club’s June fiber - Tulips, BFL. My first time spinning BFL and now I know what everyone is so crazy about. This is the softest and squish-iest yarn. My 4 oz of fiber yielded 170 yards of singles, 10 WPI. The yarn is a bit thick and thin, but hey that’s called “art yarn.”
And here’s a picture of my Mystery Stole 3 in progress, this is after my 1st completion of Chart A. Actually I frogged this one and started over, there was a huge mistake. Right now I’m about 10 rows from being finished with Chart B. I’ll post pictures when I’m done. I don’t really have a guess as to what the theme is yet, we’ll have to see if the next clue helps out any. I’m knitting this with Jaggerspun Zephyr in Vanilla and using US#4 needles.

Beautiful yarn! I joined this club too, but I haven’t had the nerve to tackle it yet, and I’m trying to finish up some black and white from Sheep Shed. Great job!
