First Official WIP
Posted on | August 28, 2007 |
Well, as you can see from the sidebar, my list of WIP’s is getting a bit out of control. I have a terminal case of startitis and just am not getting things finished. I’m going to try a test to see if I can finish up some of these languishing projects. I think part of the problem is just plain old boredom with knitting and knitting on the same old things day after day.
So, I’m going to dedicate one object to be the official WIP. The official WIP will reign for 3 days and I’ll knit exclusively on it for that time period. If it’s a portable project it can come to work with me too. I was going to make it a week, but I don’t think I can be faithful for that long! LOL At least if each thing is worked on for 3 days running there will be progress made.
The first Official WIP will be the Cabled Pocket Shawl. I’ve completed the first half. The pattern calls for 20 cable crossings but I lengthened it to 23, I’m 5′10″ tall and most things need to be longer. The second half is at 10 cables right now. Hopefully with a concentrated effort I can finish this project during its 3 day reign as the Official WIP.
