Fiber and Handspun

This is 4.6oz of hand dyed Cotswold locks. I’ll be carding this on Spike. Haven’t decided yet if I’ll blend something else in with it or not. I’m kinda thinking not, spin as singles and then ply with thread. We’ll see how it speaks to me during the process.
Spunky Club fiber for August 2007. 4oz of Lincoln wool. Amy calls this colorway Harvest Haze. Lovely. I’m excited to try spinning it as this will be my first time using Lincoln wool.
And this is half of the Ashland Bay colonial top in teal. There are 4 oz here, 240 yards, 2 ply, 14WPI. I’ll be starting the other 4 oz tonight. I’m planning on using this to knit the Clementine Shawlette from Interweave Knits magazine.

Your work is truly top notch. That Ashland Bay skein is amazing!
I can’t wait to see what you do with the Lincoln. I’ve never spun that either!
