Well, the official WIP plan worked! I finished the Cabled Pocket Shawl tonight. This was an easy knit with bulky yarn which went fairly fast once I worked on it for more than an hour at a time. I’m planning on using this for cool weather trips to the store and going from the car to the office. I just hate wearing a coat in the car, it’s too bulky. I think this shawl will be a nice alternative.

Pattern: Cabled Pocket Shawl
Yarn: Bernat Softee Chunky
Needles: KnitPicks options, US#8 and US#10
Modifications: just added 4 pattern repeats to lengthen

OK. It’s going on my future project list! I love knitting cables–with a cable needle–more than any other kind of knitting. That is beautiful!
