Market Bag for Taos Wool Festival
Posted on | September 24, 2007 |
The Taos Wool Festival is next week and I’m so excited. This will be my very first wool festival. I’m looking forward to the workshops I’m enrolled in and to watching some sheep shearing too! I’ve got my brand new drum carder, Spike, and I think he wants some nice fleece to card up.
I decided I needed a great bag to carry along to the festival to put my purchases in. I had some Sugar n’Cream yarn in the stash and wanted a market or string bag pattern. The perfect one was found at Knitty.com - The Everlasting Bagstopper. This was an easy and quick knit and is just perfect for my needs. I bought some twill tape at Hobby Lobby for the handles. It folds up pretty small and will be easy to keep in the car for shopping sprees!

Enjoy the Festival! I really wanted to go this year but it hasn’t worked out. The bag will be perfect!

Enjoy the festival and take lots of pictures and give us a good report. I’m envious of your trip. Perhaps next year. . . .
