Airy Scarf

Pattern: Airy Scarf by Joelle Hoverson, Last Minute Knitted Gifts
Yarn: 1/2 skein Rowan Kidsilk Haze
Needles: US#10 Bryson straights
Completed: 10/29/07
Notes: This was my first time to use the kidsilk haze yarn and I totally love it! It’s so soft and smooshy and fuzzy! I’ll definitely be using this again. The pattern was easy peasy to knit and went very fast. Although my gauge must have been off as I had to do 10 more pattern repeats than called for to get the right length. I’ll be gifting this to a friend for Christmas I think, and then make one for myself with the remainder of the skein. The first picture is the most accurate for the color.

Just a picture of the Spunky Eclectic Fiber club for October 2007. This is a double portion of the club’s fiber, 8 oz of Romney. The colorway is called Goblin Eyes. LOL It’s going to be great and will be my first time to spin Romney wool.

That scarf looks so elegant! Can you believe Amy forgot me? LOL I’m looking forward to it as Romney is so easy to spin!
That scarf looks very light. I bet that was a fast knit.
