Spunky Eclectic fiber club from September 2007. Aspen, superwash Merino and Tencel, 2 oz. I loved this colorway!! The final yarn is 186 yards, 17 WPI, 2 ply. The superwash combined with the tencel was a bit tricky at first (very slippery and needs tons of twist) but after just a bit I got the hang of it. This is so very smooth feeling, I love it!
This is just some corriedale I dyed a million years ago. I’ve sent it through the drum carder once. I also have the same amount in a vivid pink, which I will also card. Then I plan to spin the green and pink as very small singles. I’ll also spin the same amount in white corriedale and then try my hand at a 3 ply yarn. I haven’t done that yet, so it’ll be a good learning experience. I’ll be aiming for a worsted weight yarn.

What beautiful spinning you’ve done with the merino tencel! Gorgeous!
So pretty! I love hearing about the process - can’t wait to see the pink/green/white all spun together! It sounds like it will be very cool.
