OTN update
Posted on | November 16, 2007 |
Not too much to blog about lately. I had surgery on my foot a couple of weeks ago and I’m just limping around waiting for it to get better. Geez, foot surgery is the pits!! I can’t even use my wheel as sitting with my foot down makes it swell too much. Hopefully it will hurry up and I can get back to my lonely Sonata.
Here are my current in-progress projects:
The first is my second Everlasting Bagstopper made for a friend for Christmas. It’s finished except for sewing on the handles. I’ll buy some twill tape for that. Next is Corrugator Scarf #3. I like how easy this pattern is to memorize and it’s my carry along project. This one is using my handspun yarn. The third is my Clementine Shawlette which is also being knit with handspun yarn.
And lastly this is the beginning of my Oblique Sweater. I just fell in love with this pattern when I saw it. No fancy yarn, just some Wool Ease from the stash since I’m still keeping with my 2007 resolution to knit from my stash. I haven’t had great luck with sweaters, so I’m being really careful and hopefully this one will come out great! Wish me luck! LOL

I love the Oblique sweater! It’s one of (the many) cardi patterns I want to do!
I hope your foot feels better.
Hugs!

I hope your foot is no longer swelling. Good luck with the cardigan.
