Update

I haven’t posted in a while so I thought I’d get caught up. Not a whole lot of things going on right now. I caught an awful cold and was down for about a week, too sick to knit even! I’m feeling much better now thank goodness.

I’m working on the commission spinning still. I’m so glad my client is patient! I’m spinning sock yarn which will be three ply. I’ve finished the first two bobbins and am about half way through the last one. Then will just have to ply and it will be done. The fiber she sent me is really pretty and I think it will look terrific!

Here is some charity stuff I’ve finished. My take along knitting is usually my charity project - mostly socks for CIC. This time I did a sweater and vest too.

Both the vest and the sweater were made with Knit Picks Wool of the Andes yarn. The top two varigated socks were done with Cascade 220, the blue socks were made using Wool of the Andes, and the bottom two pair were knit with my handspun yarn.

Here is the finished llama/merino yarn. This was 3 oz of llama fiber I purchased at the Taos Wool Festival. I carded it 50/50 with some merino. The yarn is 664 yards of 2 ply, 20WPI. It came out very soft and I’m still trying to decide what to make with it.
