Baby Set

This cute set was a stash buster project and will be sent to the Afghans for Afghans baby campaign project. I used stash Patons Classic Merino - 31 gm for the hat and 20 gm for the socks. Quick, easy and fun to do.
 
The hat pattern is by Ari, Infant Earflap Hats. The socks are my Simply Sweet Socks pattern with a couple of modifications for the heavier yarn. I used US#5 needles, leg was knit for 20 rounds, foot was knit for 15 rounds before the toe decreases, and toe decreases were done every row. The socks measure 3 1/2″ from heel to toe.
