Flowering Weeds

I have finished my first project for the Tour de Fleece, finally! Boy, spinning laceweight sure takes a long time. This was 3 oz of Spunky Eclectic Fiber Club fiber for June 2008. The name is Flowering Weeds and it is 70% Merino / 30% Mohair. A lovely blend. I have 658 yards, 2 ply and 24 WPI yarn as my finished product. Also have another 3 oz of the same, I’m trying to decide whether to spin as more laceweight or do something different with it. Time will tell!

Wow. 650+ yards out of 3oz. I am speechless! It is gorgeous!
That is impressive! I’m trying to go finer with some roving right now, but nothing as fine as that. You did a lovely job.
