Update?

It’s been a while since I updated the blog, but I haven’t had much I could show you. On the knitting front I’m working on a stealth project - its a lace scarf I’m designing and I don’t want to show it until I’m finished. I’m also spinning (on the wheel) a gift for a swap,so no peeking on that one either. My two spindle projects are unchanged, they are fun and beautiful and going slowly but surely.

I did get a new spindle today though! Lovely little thing it is too. A Greensleeves Spindle - Ethan Jakob. He weighs 0.45 oz and is made of Bolivian Rosewood and Maple burl. Spins like a dervish too. Oh, and I also ordered a little fiber at the same time to cushion my spindle. LOL Both were bought from Spunky Eclectic. The first fiber is Merino, 4 oz, Sangria colorway. The second is a Merino/Silk blend (80/20), 4oz, Mermaid colorway.

You could safely post the swap spinning - I’m sure your swap buddy doesn’t read your blog!
