New Handspun

Australian merino. Ulysses colorway. Dyed by David of Come In Spinner Etsy shop. This is lovely fiber, the colors are brilliant! David is a wonderful person and just opened up his Etsy shop, go check it out! I ended up with 380 yards, 2 ply, 14 WPI from 4 oz of fiber. Singles were spun on a Forrester Dervish spindle and then plyed on my wheel.
This yarn is spun from Enchanted Knoll’s Pumpkin Juice Batts. The pictures don’t do it justice at all. The yarn is soft and SPARKLY!! From 6 oz of batts I have 466 yards of 2 ply, 18 WPI yarn. Yummy!

Love them both, of course. David’s colors are delicious - I predict a bright future for his shop.
Your PJ is much more ‘colorful’ than mine - my yarn is laceweight and is mostly the pumpkin pale yellow-orange color with accents of the pinks/purples. I love it in this 18wpi.

Those are lovely! I particularly like the blue. Your spindling is quite impressive.
