I thought this was a pretty picture. Silk top purchased at Rhinebeck with a Cherry 0.65 Golding spindle also purchased at Rhinebeck. This is my first time to spin silk top and I love it!

   Yummmmm. My Golding is on a strict silk diet - refuses to spin anything else. Spoiled brat, it is.

   OOO! I’ve not tried the top although I’ve spun a couple of hankies and they were great fun. I have plans for plying the result of that with some wool for a blend, but I just now found the right color for that. It’s on my Christmas holiday “to do” list. I can hardly wait to see the result of your spin.
