Catch Up

Posted on | January 24, 2009 |

I have been really busy at work lately and have neglected the blog a lot. Here are a few of my latest projects.

This is the handspun from a custom spinning job I had. Merino/Alpaca/Silk blend from All Spun Up. It is 4 oz, 262 yards, 16 WPI, 2 ply. I hope the buyer will be happy with it.

Here’s a Forest Canopy Shawl I knitted with some Handmaiden Sea Silk yarn which my friend David gave me. Lovely pattern and I really enjoyed the yarn too.

Your handspun is, of course, fabulous, and I love that shawl! I have a skein of Handmaiden Sea Silk hidden away in the stash, and haven’t wanted to break into it yet. It’s too precious! I love what you’ve done with yours though.
