Spun Cotton and Fiber Acqusitions
Posted on | April 25, 2009 |
Cotton spinning on the Charkha is FUN! I now have much more experience with long draw and very short staple fiber. The charkha is just so darn cute and the workmanship of the piece is a joy to look at. Definitely a lovely experience. My first charkha spun yarn is finished. This is 3 ply, 22 WPI, 160 yards. It’s a bit thick and thin and a bit underplyed, but I still love it. Now to decide what to use it for!
New fibre to add to the stash! Yeah!
