Spinning Continues

Posted on | July 18, 2009 |

Even though I dropped out of the TdF I have still been spinning, just at my own pace. I have a stash of longwools that have been languishing for a long time. I am not a big fan of the longwools because they are a bit too scratchy for me, but the colors of these rovings are wonderful and I hate not to use them. I decided to spin them up as heavy worsted and crochet a rug or two. If the rugs are cute they will be wall hangings. OR I may use them for some new potholders and/or hotpads. We shall see. Besides what you will see today I have another 8 oz of Romney and 4 oz of Wennsleydale that will be added to this group.

I didn’t know that you had dropped out of the TdF! Boo :( But good that you are still spinning :) Also: sad to hear that you don’t have the Wensleydale love.
