MIA

Well, I’ve been MIA from my blog for a while. My daughter had her first baby on July 10th! I’m now the proud Grandma of Conner, who weighed in at 8lbs, 3 oz. He was 20″ long. I took off and stayed with my daugher for a week to help out a bit. It sure was hard to leave them and come home! But thankfully they are only a 1 hour drive away. Then my 84 year old father fell and fractured his hip the same day as Conner was born! Wow, when it rains it pours. Fortunately he is doing quite well in rehab and will probably be discharged next week. So, not a lot of knitting happening the last few weeks. I have a few things and I’ll get them up here this weekend hopefully. :)
