Spectrum Towels
Posted on | September 10, 2009 |
The newest towels are off the loom and finished. These will be a Christmas gift for my DIL (who does not read blogs!). The yarn came in a kit from Halcyon Yarns, a 4 harness waffle weave in the Spectrum colorway. I really love the bright colors. It was interesting comparing the 4 harness waffle weave to the 7 harness draft. They are both nice, the 7 harness towels are thicker feeling and have deeper squares. I think they are my favorite.

They look so orange/blue on my monitor–makes me want to yell, “Go ‘Gators!” Love them! (the towels)

They’re beautiful!!! Interesting that you could really tell the difference between the 4 shaft and 8 shaft versions!
