Last of the Summer Gardens

Posted on | September 26, 2009 |

I’m calling this yarn ‘Summer Garden’ because the intense colors remind me of a lush garden at the height of summer. With fall here and winter on the way it seems nice to re-visit summer’s loveliness once more. The yarn is 100% Shetland wool and was so nice to spin. It was handpainted by Spunky Eclectic as part of the fiber club. My yarn is singles yarn, 15 WPI, 330 yards. Soft and squooshy.
