Silk Handspun

Posted on | November 22, 2009 |

Spinning silk on a spindle is one of the things I love to do best. I’ve finished up a couple of skeins. I spun the singles on spindles and then plyed on the wheel. Silk is so soft and strong, the yarn knits or weaves up with a wonderful drape.

I love the second skein; it is just a perfect combination of colors.
