Place Mats

I have found that I truly love weaving! The process is interesting and challenging. The weaving is fun and it’s great to watch the pattern emerge with each throw of the shuttle.
I went to Convergence in Albuquerque in July. I didn’t attend any classes, but I was able to have a few days in the vendor hall. It was so much fun! Being able to see the looms and wheels and equipment up close and personal was a real treat for someone like me who does all her shopping online. Next time I’ll definitely sign up for some classes.
I’ve started some Place Mats today. The pattern is Huck Boxes from Handwoven Magazine Nov/Dec 2009. 3/2 pearl cotton. 177 ends, 12 EPI, 12 PPI. They are fun and easy. Here are some WIP shots, you can click on the thumbnails to see a larger version of the photos.

I’ll post again when they are completed.

Who knows bizes using career personal marketing service ReputationUP.com? Northrop Grumman? My company is swapping to it + I would like 2 swap experiences with other bizes near by. All replies appreciated
