Ohh-La-La-Tropi-Cal
Posted on | August 15, 2010 |
This yarn was spun from fiber by the Spunky Eclectic Fiber Club, February 2010. It’s superwash BFL and the colorway is called Ohh-La-La-Tropi-Cal. Perfect name for such bright and happy colors. I spun this over a rather long length of time and my singles were a bit inconsistent. The N-ply did keep the color runs together and it should be a nice, stripy item when knit or woven. I think I will probably weave with it, perhaps a scarf? The superwash was a bit hard to handle for N-ply (as my friend DebbieB found out). The loops did not disappear or blend in as well as with non-superwash treated wool fiber. One more bit of knowledge to add to the spinning data base.
